MAAS Aviation’s executive management team leads and directs a diverse multi-function team with more than 200 employees engaged in aircraft painting, aircraft quality, supply chain and business management across the company’s network of operating and administrative locations.
Meet The Team
Mark began his career with MAAS Aviation in 1989 as an aviation painter supporting operations across Europe. While Mark’s technical expertise made him a top-level production operative, his ability to lead and organize complex aircraft painting projects made him a highly effective project and program manager, ultimately leading to an expanded role as the Operations Director in 2012 and then Group Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Mr. Gidman has been a key contributor to every site opening since 1989 and continues to install and oversee the company’s production, quality and supply chain standards across its growing network of operations as COO.
Tim was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the MAAS Aviation Group in 2017. He joined MAAS Aviation in 2009 as the company’s Chief Financial & Commercial Officer. In his role as CF&CO he was integral to setting the company’s commercial direction and establishing financial structures from which the company’s objectives could be delivered. During this period Tim oversaw MAAS’ expansion as the company grew from a single hangar in the Netherlands to 9 hangars across the Netherlands, Germany and the United States. As CEO Mr. Macdougald is leading the company’s strategies to sustainably grow and expand the organization for long-term success.
Rory was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of the MAAS Aviation Group in 2019. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester. With over 20 years of senior-level finance experience, Rory has held CFO and CEO positions in the technology and telecommunications industries in the Asia-Pacific region, most recently serving as the CFO of a private investment group in the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Condon’s appointment expands and strengthens the management team, enhancing the Group’s corporate oversight functions, and providing capacity for the group’s long-term growth.
Geoff joined MAAS Aviation in 2016 as the company’s Chief Operating Officer – US. Having previously served as a Vice President at Certified Aviation Services (component maintenance) and Director at ST Engineering Aerospace (airframe maintenance and modification), his appointment brought regionally relevant aerospace management experience to support the company’s growing US interests. Mr. Myrick holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Alabama. As COO – US he is the accountable manager for the US business unit’s operational performance and strategic growth.
Fran was appointed to the position of Director of Customer Service, Sales and Marketing for MAAS Aviation in 2012. Throughout a near 30-year career with the company he has supported aircraft painting and interior refurbishment campaigns as a production project manager, served as the General Manager of the business unit in Maastricht and overseen all the company’s aftermarket aircraft painting (MRO) sales and business development strategies. Mr. Carew has been instrumental in establishing MAAS Aviation as a leading player in the industry and continues to offer guidance and support to the company’s expanded customer service, sales and marketing team.
Richard joined MAAS Aviation in January 2020 as the Director of Customer Service, Sales and Marketing – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He has over 35 years of experience in the coatings industry, working for companies such as Herberts, DuPont and AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings. Mr. Marston’s aviation experience includes working throughout Europe in support of the key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), airlines, leasing companies and part 145 repair stations (MROs). Richard is known for leveraging his skills as a certified Six Sigma Black Belt to optimize service value by building lean solutions crafted to customer requirements.
Graham was appointed as the Director of Customer Service, Sales and Marketing – Asia-Pacific and Australia for MAAS Aviation in 2018. Prior to joining the company Mr. Windsor enjoyed a 35-year career in various industrial coatings industries, including 30 years with AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings. Graham’s tenure with AkzoNobel included assignments as the General Manager of Asia and the Global Sales Director for airlines and part 145 repair stations (MROs). In his current role he is responsible for leading the company’s business development strategies and campaigns into the market for commercial aircraft painting in Asia-Pacific and Australia.
